蜀葵有什麼功效?
蜀葵別名戎葵、吳葵。苗味甘,微寒,滑,無毒。除客熱,利腸 胃。煮食,治丹石發、熱結。作蔬菜食,滑竅 治淋,潤燥易產。搗爛塗火瘡,燒研敷金瘡。根莖主治客熱,利小便,散膿血惡汁。

蜀葵的根、莖、葉、花、種子是藥材,清熱解毒,內服治便秘、解河豚毒、利尿、治痢疾。外用治瘡瘍、燙傷等症。它的花兒,是食品的著色劑。

蜀葵根含糖、醇類物質。花含花青素、紅色素、葡萄糖、蜀葵貳。種子含脂肪油,油中不飽和遊離醉34.88%。莖稈可做編織纖維材料。
